Description

Looking for a quick and easy Halloween dinner idea? These zombie meatball sliders are fun, simple, and the best spooky bite-sized party food! Perfect for kids, easy to customize, and packed with saucy, cheesy flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 slider buns
  • 12 cooked meatballs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 12 green olive slices
  • 6 whole cloves or chopped black olives (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • Garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat meatballs in marinara sauce until warmed through.
  3. Slice slider buns and place bottoms on baking sheet.
  4. Add sauce and 2 meatballs to each bun bottom.
  5. Top with mozzarella slice, letting it hang over like a “face.”
  6. Press olive slices into cheese for eyes; add cloves or black olive bits as pupils.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and gooey.
  8. Serve warm with or without top buns.

Notes

  • Use plant-based or turkey meatballs if preferred.
  • Let kids help decorate the cheese faces for fun.
  • Add a sprinkle of shredded cheese inside for extra gooeyness.
  • Serve open-faced or topped like traditional sliders.
