Ingredients

  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 3 cups tortilla chips crushed
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Sour cream and guacamole for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning, salsa, and black beans. Stir to combine.
  4. Layer crushed chips, beef mixture, and cheeses in baking dish. Repeat layers.
  5. Top with more chips and remaining cheese.
