  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, yeast, and a little sugar. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Add remaining sugar, melted butter, eggs, salt, and gradually add flour. Knead until smooth. Let rise 1 hour.
  3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Chop strawberries.
  4. Roll dough into rectangle, spread cream cheese mixture, and sprinkle strawberries.
  5. Roll up tightly and slice into even pieces. Place in greased baking dish.
  6. Cover and let rise 30 minutes until puffy.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
