Great for meal prep, ramen bowls, or spicy snacks, these jammy eggs are marinated in chili garlic soy sauce for ultimate flavor.
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp chili oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Sliced red chili (optional)
Instructions
- Boil eggs for 7 minutes, then transfer to ice bath and chill.
- Peel eggs carefully once cooled.
- Mix soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and chili flakes.
- Place eggs in marinade and chill for 3+ hours or overnight.
- Slice eggs and garnish with sesame seeds, cilantro, and red chili slices.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Use older eggs for easier peeling.
- For stronger flavor, marinate overnight.
- Chili oil with crisp adds great texture.
- Marinade can be reused once if boiled first.
