Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken skin-side down for 5–6 minutes per side until golden.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pan sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  4. Mix soy sauce honey and vinegar in a bowl.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and pour sauce over the top.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15–20 minutes until chicken is cooked and sauce thickens.
  7. Spoon sauce over chicken while cooking. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

  • Use boneless chicken if preferred for quicker cooking.
  • Add chili flakes for heat.
  • If sauce thickens too much add water to loosen.
