Description

Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep, this shrimp and sausage with broccoli dish is quick, bold, and packed with protein.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2–3 minutes, then drain and cool.
  2. Sauté sausage in olive oil until browned. Set aside.
  3. Cook shrimp in same pan with garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes until pink.
  4. Add broccoli and sausage back to the pan. Toss everything to combine and heat through.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

  • Don’t overcook the shrimp—they cook fast!
  • Microwave-steam the broccoli to save time.
  • Use any sausage you prefer, like chicken or turkey.
