Ingredients

  • 400g steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 300g fettuccine or linguine
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear on each side until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Add red pepper flakes.
  5. Add uncooked pasta and enough water or broth to slightly cover it. Cook until al dente and sauce thickens.
  6. Slice the steak and return it to the skillet, tossing with pasta and sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
