  • 2 eggs

  • 4 slices thin pork belly or bacon
  • Okonomiyaki sauce for topping
  • Japanese mayonnaise for topping
  • Bonito flakes (katsuobushi)
  • Aonori (seaweed flakes)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and dashi in a bowl, then add eggs, cabbage, green onions, and tempura bits.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet and pour in batter to form a round pancake. Top with pork slices.
  3. Cook over medium heat for 5–6 minutes until golden underneath.
  4. Flip carefully and press slightly, cooking another 5 minutes until pork is cooked.
  5. Flip once more to crisp both sides evenly.
  6. Transfer to a plate and top with okonomiyaki sauce, mayo, bonito flakes, and aonori.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
