Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour muffin pan or molds.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.
  4. Fold in dry ingredients, then milk and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour into molds and bake 15–18 minutes. Cool on rack.
  6. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla to soft peaks.
  7. Slice cooled cakes in half. Fill with cream and top with more cream.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
