  • 12 oz kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 1 package pierogies (about 12)
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and brown sliced kielbasa on both sides then set aside.
  2. Add butter to skillet and cook pierogies until golden brown on each side. Cover briefly if frozen to steam through.
  3. Add sliced onions and cook until softened then stir in garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Return kielbasa to skillet and season with paprika and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle cheese on top and cover to melt.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
