- 2 cups cold cooked rice
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced beef (yakiniku or marinated)
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup diced carrots
- 1/3 cup green peas
- 2 tbsp Japanese BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp green onions (chopped)
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Scramble eggs in a hot pan and set aside.
- Sauté carrots and peas in sesame oil until tender.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned or warmed through.
- Push ingredients to the side and add cold rice to the center. Break up and fry briefly.
- Pour in Japanese BBQ sauce and soy sauce. Mix well to coat everything.
- Return scrambled eggs to the pan and stir to combine.
- Finish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
