Description

Perfect for birthdays, cozy weekends, or gifting, this brownie bread is rich, gooey, and topped with swirls of hot fudge.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream; stir until combined.
  5. Fold in dry ingredients and chocolate chips (if using).
  6. Pour half the batter into pan, swirl in hot fudge, then add remaining batter and more fudge on top.
  7. Bake 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool before slicing; drizzle with more hot fudge if desired.
