Description

Great for breakfast, gifting, or cozy fall baking, this banana bread is sweetened with honey and kissed with warm vanilla flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a bowl and mix in butter, honey, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  5. Pour into loaf pan and drizzle extra honey on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
  • Use coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy-free version.
  • To freeze, wrap slices in plastic and store in a freezer bag.
