Description

Ideal for dinner parties, date nights, or cozy weekend meals, this creamy garlic pepper steak pasta is indulgent and flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 12 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve some water.
  2. Rub steak with olive oil, garlic, pepper, and salt. Let sit while skillet heats.
  3. Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Rest before slicing.
  4. In saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add cream and simmer, then stir in parmesan until smooth.
  5. Toss pasta with the sauce, adding pasta water if needed for consistency.
  6. Slice steak and layer over the creamy pasta. Garnish with parsley and extra sauce.

Notes

  • Rest steak before slicing for juicy results.
  • Use freshly cracked pepper for best flavor.
  • Fresh parmesan melts better than pre-shredded.
  • Reheat with a splash of cream for silky leftovers.
