Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb beef tips or stew meat
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add beef broth and simmer. Return beef to pan and cook until tender.
  5. Add pasta to the skillet and toss with the beef and sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Stir in Parmesan and parsley. Serve warm with extra cheese on top.
