Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 6 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch and au jus mixes over the top.
  3. Add pepperoncini peppers and juice around the roast.
  4. Place butter slices on top. Add garlic if using.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  6. Shred meat with a fork and stir to mix with juices before serving.
