Description

These easy crockpot chicken tacos are quick simple and packed with flavor! Perfect for busy nights, meal prep, or taco parties. Made with chicken, salsa, and spices, they’re healthy and customizable with endless toppings. Your best taco night just got easier!


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups salsa
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Tortillas (for serving)
  • Chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the crockpot and pour salsa over the top.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir gently to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  4. Shred chicken with two forks and mix into the juices.
  5. Add lime juice and stir again.
  6. Serve in tortillas and garnish with fresh cilantro.
