Description

Perfect for date nights, dinner parties, or cozy meals at home, this parmesan chicken is crisp, creamy, and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, halved
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh thyme, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts into cutlets and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up dredging bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and parmesan-panko mix.
  3. Coat chicken in flour, egg, then breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat butter and oil in skillet and fry chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. For sauce, sauté garlic in butter then add broth and cream and simmer until thickened.
  7. Serve chicken with sauce drizzled on top and garnish with thyme.

Notes

  • Use Pecorino for a sharper cheese flavor.
  • Bake instead of frying for a lighter version.
  • Add lemon juice to the sauce for brightness.
