  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet. Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned, and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, cook for 1 minute. Pour in cream and stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Use reserved water if needed to loosen sauce.
  6. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm.
