Ingredients

  • 12 oz shell pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook ground beef until browned.
  3. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and Italian seasoning, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add beef broth and heavy cream, simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat, stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Add drained pasta to sauce, stir until well coated.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
