Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Sear chicken in a skillet until golden and cooked through. Set aside to rest.
  3. Boil pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and spices. Let simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Add pasta water as needed.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy.
  8. Slice the chicken and place on top. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
