Ingredients

- 12 oz linguine
- 2 chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional)
Instructions
- Boil linguine until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika; sear until golden and cooked through.
- Remove chicken, slice, and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice, mustard, red pepper flakes, and a splash of pasta water.
- Toss in linguine and coat evenly.
- Add chicken back to pan and sprinkle with parsley.
- Top with Parmesan and black pepper before serving.
Notes
- Use leftover grilled chicken or steak for variety.
- Add a splash of cream for a richer sauce.
- Double the red pepper for extra heat.
