Description

Perfect for weeknight dinners, cookouts, or date nights in, this creamy cowboy butter pasta is bold and easy to make.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil linguine until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika; sear until golden and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken, slice, and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add lemon juice, mustard, red pepper flakes, and a splash of pasta water.
  6. Toss in linguine and coat evenly.
  7. Add chicken back to pan and sprinkle with parsley.
  8. Top with Parmesan and black pepper before serving.

Notes

  • Use leftover grilled chicken or steak for variety.
  • Add a splash of cream for a richer sauce.
  • Double the red pepper for extra heat.
