Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and mix with yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Stir in remaining sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Add flour gradually to form a dough.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl until doubled.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll into a log and slice into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover and let rise again until puffy, about 30–40 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
