- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Warm the milk and mix with yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let sit until foamy.
- Stir in remaining sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Add flour gradually to form a dough.
- Knead the dough until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl until doubled.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll into a log and slice into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise again until puffy, about 30–40 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
