Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm milk and mix with yeast and a little sugar. Let sit 5–10 mins.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, salt. Add eggs, melted butter, and yeast mix. Knead until smooth.
  3. Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (1–1½ hrs).
  4. Roll dough into 12×18-inch rectangle.
  5. Spread with softened butter, sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Roll up tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
  7. Place in greased 9×13 pan. Let rise 30–40 mins.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 mins until golden.
  9. Mix glaze ingredients. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

  • Pour cream over rolls before baking for extra gooey texture.
  • Refrigerate overnight and bake in the morning.
  • Add chopped nuts or raisins for a twist.
