  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Maple syrup for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease or line a muffin tin.
  2. Cut bread into small cubes and set aside.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugars, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Add bread cubes to custard and stir gently to coat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  5. Spoon soaked bread into muffin tin, packing lightly.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over each muffin and sprinkle cinnamon sugar if desired.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  8. Cool slightly, remove from tin, and serve with maple syrup if desired.
