Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 3 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread half of the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add the remaining pasta mixture and top with more mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let rest for 5–10 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
