  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook ground beef onion and garlic in a skillet until browned.
  3. Stir in tomato paste Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper. Let cool slightly.
  4. Roll out puff pastry and spread meat evenly leaving a small border.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and roll tightly into a log.
  6. Slice into 1-inch pinwheels and place on baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
