Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in most of the blueberries, saving a few for the top.
  6. Add cream cheese cubes and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and sprinkle remaining blueberries on top.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan briefly, then transfer to a rack. Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze, then drizzle over cooled bread.
