  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup whole almonds
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time then stir in vanilla.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl and combine with wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in coconut, chocolate chunks, and chopped almonds.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and top with extra chocolate and almonds.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  8. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
